Reducing our impact on the planet is at the forefront of many of our minds. Fast fashion and textile waste are an ever increasing problem, resulting in huge amounts of waste in landfills as well as dumping in developing nations. Buying clothing second hand is one way to refuse the fast fashion industry, and boutique consignment stores like Clothing Bar Boutique make this shift easy. You will find top brands names from LuLu Lemon, Aritzia and Michael Kors (to name a few) at this little boutique in Marda Loop. Enjoy an incredible discount as you update your wardrobe and find head turning looks, all while doing your part to save the planet!
The beer at Cold Garden is nothing short of stellar. Our personal favourite, Cakeface, and yes, it tastes like cake, is just one delicious brew out of their long list of amazing and unique beers. In its first year, Cold Garden has quickly made its mark with a shout out in the New York Times, named Top 5 Best New Breweries in Canada by Sharp Magazine, Top Choice Award Gold recipient for Best Brewery in Calgary and Metro People's Choice Gold for Best Brewery at the Canadian International Beer Awards. It's that good! This refurbished welding shop turned taproom and beer factory has the perfect atmosphere to expand your beer palate. A mix between a tiki bar and grandmas living room, Cold Garden brewery is going to be your new favourite home away from home, but with way better beer. (P.S. The whole family is welcome, including dogs! This place is heaven for people and furry friends)
Two Calgarian brothers, Andrew and Nick, have created one of the best spots for Burgers and Brunch in the city, with two Holy Grill locations in downtown Calgary! You can always count on delicious food and super friendly staff at this tucked away gem. They have perfected a home made hollandaise sauce and smash brown potatoes making this super reasonably priced brunch a rare find at a downtown spot! If that wasn’t enough, Holy Grill gives back to one of our favourite local charities, Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids.
The perfect place to take a break after a long day of shopping in the Chinook mall. Double Zero Pizza is not your average Italian restaurant, they’ve put a modern twist on traditional and they’ve been feeling the love of Calgarians since they opened their doors in 2014. Their beautiful space is a two story pizzeria, who’s atmosphere is the perfect mix of classy and casual, with beautiful artwork showing the love to their friends, family and regulars. This spot is ideal for the whole family. The crowd favourites are the Polynesian Princess & the Formaggio Finale. Make sure to pick up a wine and try some of the best thin crust pizza in Calgary!
Brothers David and Cole have built what was initially one hidden gem, Rosso Coffee House in Ramsay, into Calgary's core coffee roaster and coffee storyteller. Rosso Coffee Roaster wants to tell the stories of coffee, a complex process that is as technical and creative as winemaking or craft beer. Rosso has traveled to Guatemala, Costa Rica, Rwanda and Colombia to purchase green coffee directly from farmers. They also dedicate their time to perfecting the roasting process, through years of research they are now responsible for sourcing and roasting all the coffee served in their stores and provide coffee to over 100 other restaurants, cafes and small businesses. When you go step into one of Rosso's 7 Calgary locations, you will be greeted by outstanding hospitality and a cafe design that expresses the vibrancy of the Calgary community that you are in.

Oscar and Joao created Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse to bring authentic, traditional Brazilian food to the heart of the Alberta prairies. The name comes from the Pampa region, also known as the Brazilian prairies in South America. When Oscar lived in Brazil, he fell in love with the weekly barbecues his friends threw, welcoming him and creating a new passion. The sense of community Oscar felt in Brazil and the incredible Brazilian barbecues, he knew he had to bring it back home with him to Alberta. He sought help from Joao, a Brazilian local passionate about food. Together, they immersed themselves in Brazilian barbecues to become experts: Oscar became a grill master and Joao became a chef. What you see in our extraordinary Pampa restaurants now is the result of their love, dedication, and commitment to authenticity.
Let us know how you like the partners and the perks, we want to hear all about experiences!
